WORCESTER MP Robin Walker applauded a campaign by St John Ambulance helping people learn lifesaving skills which could make the difference between life and death in an emergency.

As part of its month-Save a Life September campaign the organisation held a series of roadshows throughout Worcestershire throughout the month.

Mr Walker visited the event in Worcester’s Angel Place on Monday, September 28, where he applauded the charity’s work to equip people with the skills they need in an emergency.

"St John's Ambulance do such important work providing first aid at so many charity and sporting events in Worcester and it is great to see them supporting such an educational campaign,” he said.

“I was very pleased to learn a little more first aid at their stand in Angel Place and I'm delighted to see the way in which they work with schools and community groups to promote greater awareness of essential life saving skills."
