POLICE are continuing to investigate a mass brawl on a train travelling between Droitwich and Worcester in which around 30 football fans used belts as weapons against each other.

The fight, described by police as “mindless thuggery”, happened on the 6.45pm train from Birmingham New Street on Saturday, September 19.

But no CCTV footage or images of the incident has yet been released.

The suspects, who all got off the train at Worcester Foregate Street, were all described as white and in their mid 30s and are believed to have been a mixture of Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion fans.
