APPLES - the most traditional of Herefordshire fruits - will take centre stage at the National Trust's Brockhampton estate this weekend (Saturday October 10 and 11) from 11am to 4pm.
The site's teams are preparing the apples, harvesting fruit from the old orchards spread across the property in preparation for the big squeeze.
Little Cider Press from Ledbury will be bringing its special cider press to Brockhampton so all the fruit can be turned into "delicious" Herefordshire cider.
Visitors are invited to bring their own glut of apples to be pressed or make use of the apples from Brockhampton estate at a cost for £40 for pressing 50kg of apples.
The juice will ferment over the coming year and slowly and naturally turn itself into cider.
The Little Cider Press can make use of any type of apple, a traditional eater, cooker or cider apple, and turn it into something that will last and ensure that none of the apple goodness goes to waste.
To book a squeezing session contact Little Cider Press on 07445253367.
