A TATTOIST has organised a fundraising event for the charity that helps his ill father.

Adam Randell, of Pink Lady Ink in The Tything, Worcester, and his colleagues will spend a day tattooing members of the public on Friday, October 30, and donate all of the fees charged to St Richard’s Hospice.

He has been inspired to fundraise for the good cause after witnessing the “amazing help” it provides to his dad Ivor Randell, 60, of Tolladine, who has terminal brain cancer.

“St Richard’s Hospice is a cause very close to my family’s hearts”, said Adam Randell, of London Road.

“It is a massive, massive help, providing support to the whole family and providing respite for my mum who is a full-time carer.

“My dad goes to the men’s club and it offers him something to look forward to in the week.

“The staff are always willing to help us and volunteers come to our house – it is an amazing charity.

“This fundraising event is our way of giving something back to St Richard’s Hospice and to let them know how much they are appreciated.”

He added that Pink Lady Ink is looking for more people to book appointment on the day to help boost the fundraising efforts.
