POLICE are still searching for a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary and theft from a Tesco Express in Evesham.

Officers still want to speak to Daniel Gurney, aged 30, in connection with a burglary in Trinity Close at about 10pm on Monday, September 21 and a theft from Tesco Express, Cheltenham Road in Evesham.

The theft from the supermarket took place between 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 16.

Police first appealed for help in finding Gurney at the end of September but South Worcestershire Police IOM (Integrated Offender Manager) said he was still at large.

He is known to frequent Worcester, Pershore and Evesham.

Detective inspector Stuart Murphy of Worcester Proactive CID said: "We need to speak to Mr Gurney and we are actively trying to locate him.

"He routinely moves between the Evesham and Pershore area.

"If anyone knows of his whereabouts we would ask them to please get in touch. "
