AUTUMN is here and with it is a chance to forage in hedgerows to find the best blackberries to make the tastiest crumbles or jams.
Worcester News readers have been giving their tips for the best places to pick wild blackberries on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Though some have been a bit more secretive with Twitter user cja (@cja_) warning: "@Cat_Phillips @worcesternews only a fool would give up a good blackberry spot."
However, others have been more willing to share their favourite places. Here are their suggestions:
1. Hartlebury Common
Meg McGrath suggested Hartlebury Common. "There are a lot of bushes up there. They should be ready for picking now. These pics are three weeks old."
2. Along the Worcester to Birmingham canal

3. Laugherne Meadow, St John's
Sally Page said: "I've had a quite a few and have a few tubs in the freezer ready for later on."
4. Monkwood Reserve
Reporter Catherine Phillips found blackberries growing in the nature reserve near Sinton Green.
5. Ronkswood Hill meadows
6. Pitchcroft
Louise Phillips said: "These blackberries were picked from pitchcroft last week. There are so much more there since the Worcester Transition Project started rescuing bees across the county and setting up hives at the old stables. Seem to still have a few left too! The elderberry trees by the environment centre are also jam packed (excuse the pun)"
7. Ipsley Alders, Redditch
Julian Prouse said: "Ipsley Alders Nature Reserve. Almost gone now. Have made 60lb Blackberry jam this year. Run out of pots."
