OFTEC, the UK trade body for oil heating, is urging the 31,000 oil heated homes across Herefordshire and Worcestershire to take steps to save money on their fuel bills this winter as part of the fifth annual big energy saving week this week (October 26 to 30).
Households with oil heating are currently enjoying the lowest fuel prices for six years, according to OFTC.
But there are still measures these households can take to cut their heating costs further this winter and a UK_wide campaign has been launched.
