FIREWORKS night is nearly upon us with a number of events happening in and around Worcester.

Whether it is a small fireworks display, a larger event or even one which promises no bangs we have compiled a list of events taking place.

Wrap up warm, don't forget your pack of sparklers and enjoy the fun safely at one of these events.

Avoncroft Museum No Bangs Bonfire Night

Thursday, November 5. Gates open at 6.30pm.

There will be a traditional bonfire, the chance to meet Guy Fawkes, music and singing around the fire.

Tickets cost £4 and include a free cup of hot chocolate. To book call 01527 831363.

The Old Bush, Callow End - Bonfire and fireworks display

Thursday, November 5.

Fire lit 6.45pm, fireworks 7pm.

Tickets £2.50 in advance from the pub or the village shop. £3 on the night and under tens free.

Evesham Bonfire and Firework Display on Corporation Meadow

Thursday, November 5.

Gates open at 6.15pm, bonfire lit 7.15pm, fireworks at 7.45pm.

Tickets are available in advance from the Tourist Information Centre at the Almonry Museum, Evesham.

Adults £3, children (5-16 yrs) £2, under fives free.

Red Hill Primary School, Midhurst Close, Worcester - firework spectacular

Friday, November 6. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm.

Ticket prices, adults £6, children £3.50 on the night. Advance tickets are available from the school office at discounted rates of £5 adult and £2.50 child.

The money raised this year will help to enhance the school's library.

Friday, November 6

It will feature a whole host of characters including Olaf and Elsa from Frozen, as well as Spiderman, a Minion and many more as well as a funfair.

Gates open at 5.30pm with the fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.

Adult tickets are £6, children’s tickets £3.50 and are available on 01905 459309.

Marlbank Inn, Welland, Malvern - Bonfire night set to the theme of Disney Classics

Friday, November 6

Children will be setting up a stall raising money for Welland Preschool and Help for Heroes.

Volunteers will also be collecting for Help for Heroes.

Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.

Powick School - fireworks spectacular

Friday, November 6

Gates open 6pm, fireworks at 7.15pm.

On the night tickets adult £5.50, children £4.50, family ticket £16.

No sparklers.

Norton Community Fireworks - Norton Cricket Ground

Friday, November 6. Doors open at 6pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.

Fireworks extravaganza to music.

Entry £1 per person.

St Peter's CEVA First School in St Peter's Church Lane, The Holloway, Droitwich

Friday, November 6 at 6.30pm.

Gates open at 5pm and and the display will start 6.30pm.

Tickets in advance cost £4 for adults and £1 for children while adult tickets on the door cost £5.

Entry for pre-school children is free.

Friends of Colwall Primary School's Firework Spectacular at Colwall Cricket Club's Ghost Meadow ground.

Saturday, November 7 from 5pm to 7pm.

Ticket only. Adults £6, children £4 and under 4s free. On sale from the school, John Goodwin's Colwall office and florist Lady P's near Colwall train station.

No sparklers.

The Fleece Inn, Bretforton

Saturday, November 7 from 6pm.

Bonfire, stationary engines, hand bells and vintage Tilley lanterns.

Kempsey Primary School - Spectacular firework party

Saturday, November 7. Gates open 5pm, fireworks 6pm.

Tickets available in advance from the school or McColls in the village costing adults £3.50, children £2 or under threes free.

Crowle Bonfire Party at Boden's Field, Froxmere Road

Saturday, November 7. Fire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm

Adults £5, children £2.50, family ticket £13, pre-school aged children and under free.

Guy competition open to all. Bring entries to the field at 1pm for judging.

Pitchcroft fireworks, bonfire and fairground organised by Worcester Round Table.

Saturday, November 7. Gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.15pm and fireworks display 7.30pm.

Entry £5 per adult, £2 per child, £12 family (two adults, two children).

Bonfire, fireworks and barbecue at Great Witley Village Hall.

Saturday, November 7 at 5pm.
