CHERRY Orchard Primary School has been named primary school of the year by Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
The school was recognised by the cricket club for its commitment to internal coaching opportunities and local competitions for its young sportsmen and women during the last academic year.
Lee Card, deputy head, received the glass trophy on behalf of the school's staff and pupils during a one day cup match in the summer.
