STUDENTS from Bishop Perowne CE College were inspired by a talk with renowned youth motivational speaker, Mr Beezy.

During all day sessions, Mr Beezy, whose real name is Adebola Adeoshun, inspired students to achieve their dreams and help them understand why they need to be successful.

Year 11 student, Bailey Vinyard, who is hoping to pursue a career as a forensic scientist, said: “Mr Beezy’s workshop helped to make me more focused.

"He made me realise that school is no joke and how your school days and exams are important for the rest of your life.”

For the past five years, Mr Adeoshun has been working with schools up and down the country empowering students.

He drew on his own personal experiences of hardship and triumph for a "Nothing is Impossible" message to inspire students to achieve results they didn’t think were possible.

He also encouraged them to use their challenges and adversities in a positive way to make their loved ones and families proud.

Mr Adeoshun said: “It has been brilliant being at Bishop Perowne CE College, the students have been really receptive.

"They have been engaged and really taken on the messages spoken about today.

"Me and my team have connected with them in a special way which has allowed them to have a reality check and find the motivation to go on and succeed.

"It has been an absolute pleasure to be here for the first time; the staff are fantastic and I would love to work with the school again.

"I feel fulfilled.”

Mark Pollard, headteacher at Bishop Perowne CE College, said: “Every student has learnt something from their session with Adebola and his team.

"The students were really engaged and they now understand the importance of thinking about their futures and realise how serious they need to be about their school work.

"I’d like to say a big thank you to Adebola for bringing our Endeavour Forever school philosophy to life.”

The talk took place on Friday, November 20.
