THE internationally-acclaimed choir of Clare College, Cambridge, will be performing in Castlemorton, near Malvern, for a concert of Christmas choral works.
The visit has been masterminded by resident Steve Howick, whose daughter Alice studied at the college, and who will be Clare College, graduating in 2008, and is returning to her roots to play violin in the choir’s performance of Elgar's the Snow.
The concert, on Saturday, December 6, at St Gregory's Church, starting at 6.30pm, also includes Palestrina’s Matin Responsory and What Sweeter Music by Rutter.
Tickets must be reserved in advance from Steve Howick on 01684 833607., but are selling fast, so anyone who wants to attend the concert should act fast.
