THE reward has been doubled in a bid to find those responsible for killing Worcester peregrine Bobbin's mate and offspring.
There are also fears for the welfare of Bobbin who has not been seen since the poisoning in Clee Hill, Shropshire had been poisoned.
The RSPB and the SPG originally offered a reward of £1000 for information leading to the conviction of anyone involved in this incident which has now been doubled to £2,000.
Bobbin was one of four chicks born in Worcester in 2009 and was the only one who returned to the city for the winter.
A volunteer reported a dead adult male on June 15, 2015 at the base of the breeding cliff.
Toxicology tests confirmed the bird was poisoned by diazinon.
As well as the official reward, Caroline Gould, from Vale Wildlife Hospital has personally pledged a further unspecified amount for information leading to the culprit being caught.
Information can be reported to West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 649S of the 15/06/2015.
You can also give information anonymously to Crimestoppers UKCrimestoppers or 0800 555 111
