A much loved Upton teacher has celebrated 20 years of teaching at an Upton school.
Children of Kate Moroni's class, along with staff members, planned a surprise birthday party for her after the class assembly which was attended by school governors and Upton residents.
She was presented with a bay tree, in a blue pot, as a reminder of her 20 years with the school and head teacher Julie Wills gave a speech to the crowd about the teacher's work over two decades.
This terms marks the milestone, as she joined the school in January 1996.
A spokeswoman for the school said: "20 years is an incredible time to work in one school and I know that we have parents in the Upton Community who were taught by Mrs Moroni themselves.
"It is very clear that Mrs Moroni loves her job with a passion and all those who have been taught by her will have experienced this.
"The team at Upton-upon-Severn C of E Primary School would like to congratulate Mrs Moroni on this significant milestone."
