INTERNATIONAL referee JP Doyle will be officiating in Worcester Warriors’ crucial Aviva Premiership home match against misfiring Bath on Saturday (3pm).

It will be the 105th Premiership game for Doyle, who was in charge of France’s narrow 23-21 Six Nations victory against Italy at the weekend.

Tenth-placed Warriors must get their season back on track after crashing to a dismal 20-13 reverse at London Irish in a bottom-of-the-table clash on Sunday.

It was Worcester’s 12th successive defeat in all competitions and they are just one point better off than second-bottom Irish and basement boys Newcastle Falcons.

Warriors’ relegation rivals Falcons host Leicester Tigers at Kingston Park on Friday (7.45pm) and Irish face Northampton Saints at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday (3pm).

Worcester’s only victory over Bath in their last 15 meetings in all competitions was a 16-7 Premiership triumph at Sixways in November 2011.

But Bath are in a poor run of form and have lost their last six matches, including a 15-11 home defeat against West Country rivals Gloucester last weekend.

Bath are just one place above Warriors and have not won since beating Worcester 21-14 at the Recreation Ground on December 27.

The West Country club’s sole Premiership victory on the road this term has been at London Irish.

Bath have played nine times at Sixways, winning six, drawing one, losing two.

Worcester’s last success was a 19-3 home victory against La Rochelle in the European Challenge Cup in November.

Warriors’ two Premiership victories this term have been against Northampton and Newcastle.

Meanwhile, all matches in the final round of the regular Premiership programme on Saturday, May 7 will now kick-off at 3.30pm.

Warriors host defending champions Saracens on the final day, with Irish travelling to Coventry to face Wasps and Newcastle entertaining Sale Sharks.
