CHILDREN from Evesham Nursery School were wide-eyed with delight when they came face-to-face with some real owls.
The youngsters had been listening to the Owl Babies story by Martin Waddel and had lots of questions about the fascinating creatures.
Staff showed the children videos of owls but then decided to contact Arden Falconry to arrange for them to enjoy a first hand experience of seeing real owls.
Marian Gager, head of Evesham Nursery School, said: "Danielle, from Arden Falconry, was incredibly experienced and informative, she answered all of the children's questions and even let the children hold the owls.
"You can see from the photos how proud they all are."
