CHILDREN in hospital this Easter will be cheered up with Easter Eggs donated by a local health club.
PF2 Health Clubs in Worcester and Malvern will waive their gym membership joining fee if people donate an Easter egg this month.
All the eggs collected by the end of March will be donated to Riverbank, the Worcestershire Royal Hospital children's ward.
Countrywide stores have donated wheelbarrows, which will be in each PF2 club reception until Easter, to collect all the eggs.
The clubs are based in Diglis and at the Malvern shopping park.
Richard Noble, the club's managing director, said: "All the guys at PF2 are delighted to be involved in this donation of Easter eggs.
We have donated in previous years and to see the children's faces when we deliver the eggs to the children's ward at the Worcestershire Royal is fantastic when you see how poorly some of the children are.
"It simply makes us proud we are in a position to make them smile.
"Equally our members are happy as it reduces the amount of Easter eggs they will eat which helps with their fitness regime."
