A Worcestershire animal rescue centre is calling on people in the county to help a dog who has been without a home for more than six months.
Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS), near Malvern, is searching for a new home for Baz, an affectionate cross breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier after he arrived there last October.
Claire Tregunna, Shelter Manager at WARS, said: "He loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa, and would happily welcome a lap to sleep on.
"He has undergone extensive training, and his newest trick is to “sniff” his treat before he takes it."
Baz would need an experienced family who would be keen to continue his ongoing training.
He would enjoy a home where the family would be with him the majority of the time, and provide him with lots of exercise.
Baz could live with another dog, but not cats or small furries.
If you would like to find out more about Baz, or the shelter, visit wars.org.uk or call 01905 831651.
