MEMBERS of a suspected Somali drug gang have been charged with serious drugs offences including the supply of heroin and cocaine.
The charges, revealed by police only moments ago, follow the dramatic dawn raids in Worcester yesterday (Thursday).
The defendants are Kamal Liban, 19, Abdlmahad Adow, 20, and Abdirahim Said 20, all from London.
West Mercia Police confirmed moments ago, after talks with the CPS, that three Somalian males and one French male have been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
All four have been remanded in custody and are to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday).
The Worcester News reported exclusively on two dawn drugs raids at Newtown Road and Lichfield Avenue, Ronkswood which resulted in seven arrests.
Officers in personal protective equipment used a chainsaw and battering ram to break through one door and the enforcer on the other as they barged their way inside at 6.35am yesterday (Thursday).
