AN "elderly" man was rescued from a stranded boat in Worcester yesterday (Sunday).
The boat was stranded at weir, Diglis Lock, and the man was saved by three fire crews from Malvern, Droitwich and Worcester.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue posted on its official Twitter account: "Crews attended a boat stranded at weir, Diglis lock, Worcs, one elderly man rescued."
It is not currently known what time this occurred.
