A Worcestershire man has been charged after a 30 man brawl broke out in the county.

Callum Alexander Bierek, of Austin Road, has been charged with being drunk disorderly in a public place and assaulting a constable in the execution of his/her duty following the brawl in Bromsgrove

The 22 year-old was also charged with possession of a controlled drug of class B- cannabis.

Bierek has been bailed to appear at Redditch Magistrates Court on April.

A 25-year-old man from Kidderminster also arrested following the disorder has been given a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

Between 20-30 people were involved in the incident which started at around 3.30am in Worcester Road, on Saturday, April 9.

An officer received slight head injuries during the incident. These did not require medical attention.
