PUPILS from Bowbrook House School have helped make a mosaic as part of an Arts Week.
The school's artist in residence Tina Farrimond was based in the school's DT block for a week and worked on the mosaic with pupils from every year group.
All pupils from the school contributed to the design and construction in some way.
The design reflects the school’s Arts Week theme of Around the world with some personal touches such as the Bowbrook coloured camper van and a reminder of the space rocket that took Tim Peake to the space station.
The mosaic will greet pupils and visitors to the school with the reminder to continue to expand our horizons.
Mrs Farrimond returned for the grand unveiling ceremony, joining headmaster Chris Allen and members of the school’s Arts Council.
Head of Art Jeannie Mellor thanked Mrs Farrimond for all the fun Bowbrook House pupils and staff had in making the mosaic.
