CHILDREN are invited to an animal themed event at St Andrews Church in Droitwich this weekend.
At Messy Church on Saturday, April 16, youngsters can try their hand at creating spiders from pipe cleaners, rabbits out of old socks and paper plate turtles, amongst other creatures.
The Reverend Beverly Jameson, team vicar for Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: "This reminds us of God’s love for all creatures and that we should take care of them – including spiders!"
The event runs from 10am to 12pm and includes free sandwiches and cake.
