THE woman who claimed a £33million lottery ticket went through the wash has had a new £20,000 car funded by the taxpayer, reports The Sun.
The newspaper has spoken to a source who claims that people are "infuriated" Susanne Hinte, from Worcester, has been able to claim the car.
The 48-year-old, dubbed Lotto Gran, collected a new Vauxhall Astra GTC Limited Edition Sport Coupe using a disability allowance, The Sun claims.
The paper said the German grandmother claims £500 monthly disability allowance for an enlarged heart as well as around £600 in other benefits.
Hinte is using the "mobility component" of the DLA payment to lease the car for three years under the Government's Motability scheme, according to today's paper.
Hinte appeared at court earlier this month to deny stealing a pensioner's handbag. The trial continues.
