THE wife of a motorcyclist who died in a crash has paid tribute to her husband calling him "the love of my life".

Robert Loach, of Birmingham Road, Redditch, died on Monday (April 25) when his motorbike was in collision with a car on the A3400 Stratford Road in Wootton Wawen.

The 27-year-old leaves a partner, Lian, and two children aged one and three.

Robert grew up in Redditch where he lived all his life, he worked for local company S E Davis.

His main interest, however, was his family.

Lian said: "Robert was the world's most doting father, a loving and wonderful son and brother to seven cherished siblings.

"He was also a good friend to anyone that got to know him.

"He was my rock and my soul mate, the love of my life and I love him more than I could possibly say."

Robert's mother, Sam, said: "Robert was my first born son, a truly wonderful, inspirational person and most loving son."

Warwickshire Police continue to investigate the collision and would like to hear from anyone with information about it.

A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and appeared in court on Wednesday (April 27).
