ORGANISERS of the Worcestershire Antiques Fair have promised this May's event will be "biggest and best one yet."
The fair, hosted in the grounds of the historic Chateau Impney Hotel, will be held over Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15 and could attract around 3,000 people.
At the event - which is the ninth of its kind - a clock made by John Scandrett of Worcester in the 18th Century will make its way back to the area after spending many years in Bedfordshire.
Stephanie Castell, who organises the fair with Bargain Hunt expert Ben Cooper, said: "I think it will be the biggest and the best one yet. People have saved some really good stock.
"It is just a lovely atmosphere. There are lovely things and the dealers are very good."
In the past, the fair has seen many interesting items and some high-value sales, including a ring which was sold for £30,000.
The twice-yearly fair incorporates the Royal Worcester Museum of Ceramics Fair and there will be more than 90 stands hosted by a range of antiques dealers selling furniture, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, coins and much more.
