A CHEQUE for £750 has been presented to St Richard's Hospice from Evesham Golf Club.
The money was raised by John Machin, past captain of Evesham Golf Club during his year in office and money will fund a day hospice nurse for a week and assist more than 80 patients with specialist care.
It was presented to Charlie Horner, fundraiser for the hospice.
Mr Machin thanked members of the golf club who worked hard to support him during his year as captain, as besides the money raised for St Richard's Hospice he was also able to present money to the club in order for it to fund several outstanding projects.
