Four people have been arrested following allegations of affray and carrying weapons on Oak Tree Close, Evesham.

Reports suggest a number of people were carrying objects described as wooden poles and bladed articles.

Between 3.40pm and 4.pm on Thursday May 26, a group of young people were alleged to have been shouting threats.

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of affray and have been bailed until Sunday 26 June.

The people that were arrested are A 27 year-old-woman, a 22 year-old-man from Evesham, a 16 year-old- boy from Evesham and a 16 year-old-boy from Cardiff.

The group were also believed to be fighting at the rear of De Montfort school on Four Pools Lane.

A group of approximately six men had been seen running along a nearby path.

The West Mercia Police attended the scene and arrested four people.
