OVER 100 visitors came to Malvern's Amida Mandala Buddhist temple when it held an art exhibition and open day on Saturday.
The visitors had the chance to come and look around the temple, meet the priests, chat to the residents and examine the art works by Grace Talbot, Sanghamitra Adrian Thompson, Betty Rose Hughes, Valerie Tongue and Satya Robyn.
Kaspalita Thompson, spiritual director of the Worcester Road-based temple, said: "The event went very well. All of the artists sold some work, which they were very pleased about, and commented on the wonderful atmosphere on the day.
"I was personally very pleased to see some old friends, and to welcome people into the space who hadn't been before. It's good not only for the artists, and the people enjoying the art, of which there were some beautiful pieces, but also for our relationship with the local community. We always aim for a spirit of friendship with our neighbours, and the wider community."
