A woman arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Redditch has been released on bail.

Police were called to an address on Seymour Drive, Redditch on Monday, June 13 2016 at 1.40am.

On arrival, officers found 43 year-old David Simon McTighe (known to his family as Simon) with a serious head injury.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday 21 June, she was taken into police custody and after being interviewed has been released on bail until a date in October.

Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard from Simon between Sunday, June 5 and Monday, June 13 to contact them.
