YEAR 7 students from The De Montfort School have been getting stuck into community activities.
As part of a Personal Development Day, pupils visited the Almonry Museum and planted shrubs, flowers and bulbs at the Vale of Evesham Nursery.
Other students have been busy at the De Montfort School site, creating hanging baskets and tidying.
Sam Hook, head of learning for year 7 said: "Students have had fun developing their sense of community as well as widening their awareness of citizenship and respect for the environment."
She added the activities were a great opportunity for the development of learning outside the classroom and said she was extremely impressed with students.
