TICKETS are now on sale for families to enjoy a day with a CBeebies star and raise money for a charity set up in memory of a four-year-old girl.

People can now buy tickets for the Ladybird Garden Party with Katy Ashworth, star of CBeebies show, I can Cook.

The garden party take place on Monday, August 22 at Spetchley Park Gardens raising money for the Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust.

The appeal was set up in memory of Grace Kelly, from Crowle, who died suddenly from an aggressive form of cancer.

Her mum and dad, Jennifer and Gareth, have so far raised over £70,000 for Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group and Acorns Children's Hospice.

Cbeebies star Katy Ashworth will be doing two shows in a large marquee full of fun, songs and entertainment.

Mrs Kelly said: "This event means a huge amount to us.

"It is set at the wonderful Spetchley Park Gardens, a place that Grace absolutely loved to visit.

"It was the place she learnt to walk and also the last place she visited with us as a family before she became ill.

"The Spetchley Park estate has so kindly given us exclusive use of their grounds for the whole day free of charge.

"There will be something that all the kids will love.

"There will be a fayre running along side with pony rides, coconut shies, a treasure hunt, facepainting, bouncy castles, food, drink and more.

"We are also delighted that Paralympic archer Mel Clarke will be doing archery activities for everyone.

"The Katy Ashworth shows look amazing.

"The kids just love her, as did Grace.

"All of the profits for the day will be going to the Grace Kelly Ladybird Appeal to raise money for research into childhood cancers and for childhood cancer awareness."

Tickets are on sale at gracekellyladybird.co.uk and are already selling well.
