THIS cat managed to escape a magpie attack by a whisker after getting stuck up a BT pole in Northwick.
A worried neighbour called Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service after realising the pet could not make it back down and was being dive-bombed by birds.
A fire crew managed to get the cat back safely on the ground in Saunders Street, off Northwick Road, at just after 4.30pm this afternoon (Thursday).
