The 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme is commemorated at the Thiepval Memorial.
SOLDIERS from Moreton-in-Marsh who fought in the battle of the Somme 100 years ago will be remembered at an exhibition in the town tomorrow.
Heroes of Moreton is on at the WI Hall, New Road, from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
The event included displays of First World War memorabilia and information about servicemen from the town who fought in the conflict.
Entry is free, but donations to the Army Benevolent Fund are welcome.
