BROMSGROVE folk bidding to get themselves back into employment should attend a special event taking place at Bromsgrove Library next week.

Visitors will be able to find out about a number of learning opportunities currently on offer in the district on Tuesday, July 19 from noon until 4pm.

The event is being organised by Bromsgrove Early Help in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council Libraries and Learning, which would be ideal for anyone looking to get back into work or re-train for a career change.

There are recreational evening courses on offer, including those which offer childcare alongside.

A number of stalls offering free and paid courses will be on offer in addition to an array of advice from organisations including BDHT, Babcock, The Basement Project, Bromsgrove Early Help, HoW College and many more.

The event is being backed by acting Bromsgrove District Council leader Councillor Kit Taylor who said: "You're never too young or too old to learn something new - so why not challenge yourself?

"Whether it's for recreational purposes or to better yourself in the workplace, the world is your oyster and it can all start by popping into Bromsgrove Library."

More information is available by contacting library manager Nicki Hitchcock on 01905 822722, or Early Help on 01527 534150.
