A schoolboy from Worcester will leave school this summer without having ever missed a day.
Jack Barron-Highfield leaves year 11 at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College with an 100 per cent attendance record - that has lasted throughout his entire school career.
Jack, who was previously at Lyppard Grange Primary School, has not missed a single day of school since he set out on his educational journey at the age of five.
Cheryl Corbin, the school's director of studies, said: "Jack has been a pleasure to have in my year group.
"He is a very hardworking, pleasant and polite student who is well regarded by staff and peers.
"Having 100 per cent attendance for one academic year is amazing but to have gone through primary and secondary school without having a day off is truly phenomenal. Well done Jack!"
Sean Devlin, the school's principal, said it was a tremendous feat to go all the way through primary and secondary education without missing a day.
He said: "Jack deserves every success that comes to him in the future. What an amazing role model for us all."
