IT probably has not escaped your notice that Worcester basked in temperatures above 30C yesterday.

Police dealt with four calls to dogs trapped in hot cars in Worcestershire and Public Heath England issued advice on staying safe in the heat.

People saw the temperature rise in their homes and gardens.

And they found a variety of ways to stay cool in the heat.

Just like Lex Hooper's dog Pooka who enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool.

Also enjoying a dip in the pool were Jacob and Libby Bozward with their grandparents Sandra and Gordon
