A FITNESS classes for exercise novices is being held in Worcester this summer.
British Military Fitness (BMF) has organised the group sessions, named beginners Saturday, which run every weekend in August, taking place at Worcester Woods Country Park.
The first session is being held on Saturday, August 6, and is designed to make beginning an exercise regime less daunting, and is particularly aimed at those who are new or are returning to exercise.
Hour long sessions take place every Saturday in August, and participants are allowed to attend one free session.
BMF’s sessions are led by serving or former members of the Armed Forces and are a fun, effective way of getting fit with like minded people.
With the encouragement of expert instructors, people train in pairs and groups, and can burn up to 700 calories a session.
Harry Sowerby, managing director at BMF, said: “BMF is all about people coming together and having fun, whilst getting fit and improving their lifestyles at the same time - you don’t need to be super-fit to join our ranks.
"Each session is varied to keep both the body and mind motivated and the workouts are designed to improve your stamina, speed, agility and strength in a fun and interesting way."
