STAFF and students from The Chantry School have completed a sponsored charity run in memory of former student Anna Wilkinson.
Anna died in January this year after a battling against a brain tumour.
Despite her illness, Anna achieved 10 A* grades at GCSE before her death and was described as a much loved and respected pupil.
Staff and students raised £3,500 in sponsorship for a cancer trust through the run which was organised to remember and celebrate her life on Wednesday, July 20.
The day was described as one in which much happiness prevailed with children and teachers enjoying the event and playing music.
Afterwards, family, student and staff unveiled a tree in Anna’s name which will be a constant memorial of her life.
