SWEETIES Crucial Toss were crowned champions at the Martley Cricket Club president’s sixes day.
Led by skipper Danny Mayfield, they were unbeaten throughout and had a comfortable victory over Brexit 233 in a one-sided final at Jewry Field.
Sweeties racked up 75-1 off their five overs and the Brexiteers never got going in the village tournament, ending on 32-4.
They had started the day in fine form by amassing the highest score of the day of 85-2 against Black Dragons but faded as the day went on.
Dragons had the consolation of winning the Plate competition, beating Sweet Caroline in the final, reaching 64-0 as they chased down 59-1.
