CREATIVE shoppers are invited to take part in a charity craft day at a store in Wychbold, near Droitwich.

Hobbycraft, in Worcester Road, will host a crafty tea party in store on Saturday, July 30 to raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice.

Staff are supporting the charity through Hobbycraft’s national charity partner Together for Short Lives, the leading charity for the UK’s 54 children’s hospices.

Paula Fox, manager, said: "Pop in and join us for a cup of tea and some delicious cakes, whilst trying out some new crafty ideas, and raising money for a really worthwhile cause."

Eleanor Brady, corporate partnerships manager at Together for Short Lives, said: "It’s great to be running our Craft-tea campaign for the second year running with our fantastic supporters Hobbycraft.

"Art, craft and play is an important part of what children’s hospices do and the money raised will directly benefit children, young people and families that rely on their local children’s hospice service.

"Join our Craft-tea party in Hobbycraft’s Droitwich store and help make a difference."
