REGULARS at the Anchor Inn, Kempsey will be leaping into the saddle on Saturday for a fundraising fancy-dress bike ride.
The event is intended to raise money for St Richards Hospice, Acorns Children's Hospice and Kempsey Colts Football Club.
Trudy Johnson of the pub said: "It's an annual event, and this year the cyclists will be starting out at 10.30am, and covering 18 miles in the country around Kempsey, with a few stops to refuel.
"Anyone who wants to take part is welcome. There's no fee to take part, but we ask everyone to raise a minimum of £10 in sponsorship."
The pub will be putting on a barbecue in the afternoon, so hungry cyclists will have the chance to restore their energies.
