A WORCESTER-based charity is inviting Warndon villagers to a roadshow event being held this month.

Following funding from the Police and Crime Commissioners fund, Worcester charity Onside is running a project call Swap and Share, based on the international Timebank model.

The event sees people doing chores such as cleaning cars, in exchange for someone doing an activity they need completed.

Offers of help are co-ordinated by Swap and Share project co-ordinator Sue Stanley.

As part of the project, the charity is hosting Action for Warndon Week with a roadshow taking place on Monday, September 19, between 10am and 1pm.

The roadshow, being held at Warndon Hub and Building Skills Centre in Shap Drive, will be highlighting all the services and projects going on in the Warndon area.

At the event there will be representatives from Fortis Living, Safer Worcester, Bags of Love from Warndon, the Worcester Community Trust and Building Blocks.

West Mercia Police representatives as well as councillors will also be making an appearance.
