A MARTLEY group's latest fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Martley villagers first got together for a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support in September 2012, which managed to raise £366.
The event became a regularly monthly coffee morning at the village hall, which has gone on to raise thousands for various charities - but the biggest event still remains the Macmillan fundraiser.
The 2016 fundraiser took place on Saturday morning, (September 26), and it managed to raise £860 for the charity.
Mandy Gardner, one of the organisers, said: "I would like to thank everyone who came for their continued support, and thank the regular helpers Jan Dale, Pat Owen, Pat Finch and Brenda Owen-Jones."
