The classic tale of Holly Golightly the vivacious and good time girl is set in New York City in 1944 and 1957.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is based on a novel by Truman Capote that starred Audrey Hepburn in the iconic 1961 film.

For this touring production Georgia May Foote a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing and well known for playing Katy Armstrong in Coronation Street from 2010 until 2015 makes her stage debut.

Her story is told through the eyes of Fred (Matt Barber), a budding writer from Louisiana who is charmed, captivated and in love with this elegant girl who every woman wants to be, and every man wants to be with.

With unexpected long blonde hair (she is a brunette), diminutive May Foote was engaging as the outrageous temptress, looking gorgeous in a number of fabulous outfits.

Her flirtatious style and american drawl in this sophisticated production hit the right note, as did the line 'I've had eleven lovers not including those before I was sixteen, those don't count'.

Why is it animals do their best to steal the limelight? The audience purred with delight when Bob the Cat made his first appearance looking divine. His list of credits is long and impressive one of A1 Animals star cats.

A throughly enjoyable show, runs until Saturday, 1st October at the Bristol Hippodrome.
