COLLEGE students celebrated their graduation earlier this month.
As part of the annual graduation ceremony at Heart of Worcestershire College, the students received their awards from principal Stuart Laverick, chair of the corporation Neill Bucktin and the directors of their respective courses.
Also in attendance at the ceremony were guest speakers Chris Slade, Director of Partnerships at Staffordshire University, Revd Alvyn Pettersen and Councillor Paul Denham, the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Worcester.
Mr Laverick said: “We are extremely proud to have so many students graduating from the Heart of Worcestershire College this year.
"They’ve all shown great dedication to their studies and we wish them the best of luck with their future careers.”
Taking place at the Worcester Cathedral, students from a range of subjects gathered to receive their awards.
Speaking about her time studying, Nicky Fletcher, who studied business management at the college, said: “The course has really helped me to progress in my career. I stuck with the College whilst receiving cancer treatment and the staff were tremendous and helped beyond expectations.”
