A NEIGHBOURHOOD watch group has set up a new Facebook page in a bid to help reduce crime in Droitwich.
The Droitwich Spa and Rural Neighbourhood Watch Association committee launched the page to make it easier to quickly share information about crime, and preventing crime, with the community.
The group was inspired to use the social media platform, after seeing the success of a similar page by the Stourport Neighbourhood Watch Association.
A spokesman for the Association said: "Our local police safer neighbourhood team will provide us with useful feedback and information, and we should start to see a reduction in crime and life made increasingly difficult for potential criminals.
"It is hoped that residents of Droitwich and the surrounding area will show similar enthusiasm for this new approach to neighbourhood watch and make good use of this up to date means of exchanging information and reducing crime."
