POLICE have issued a warning to drivers after three crashes took place due to black ice on rural roads.
The crashes happened across south Worcestershire between 6.45am and 8.43am on Monday morning, following a very cold night which saw temperatures falling to around 3C.
The first incident was on Worcester Road in Grafton Flyford, followed by another in Middle Road, Stock Green and another in Church Road, Bradley Green.
West Mercia Police's @SWorcsCops Twitter account tweeted about the crashes, urging drivers to slow down on rural roads.
It said: "We are currently dealing with at least three collisions on Rural Roads due to black ice. Please slow down and drive with care."

Lots of calls about RTC's this morning. Please be careful on the roads, it may look lovely and sunny but it's still cold out there #brrrrr
