A taste of the local produce on sale in Worcestershire was on show at Hanbury Hall, near Droitwich over the weekend.

Wines and spirits, artisan bread and cheeses along with a range of vegan choices were among the delicious food offered at the Winter Food Fayre on Saturday and Sunday.

Among the producers showcasing their wares was Hay Wines, Ledbury, Swifts Bakery, Ludlow, Knightgrove Meats, from Droitwich and Canapes by Gill, from Alfrick Pound.

Emma Armstrong, the Hall's visit experience officer, said: "We had really good visitor numbers for our gift fayre last week.

"We had about 1,100 visit last Saturday and 1,200 on the Sunday.

"We are hoping to have had about the same for this weekend.

"We put them on because we did a food fayre last year along with a vintage fayre and they were really successful."

Next week the National Trust house will host a handmade and artisan fayre from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20.
