FAMILIES will be given an advent chocolate calendar and enjoy festive fun on Saturday.
Messy church will be celebrating Advent at St Andrews Church Droitwich from10am to 12pm.
Children can make dolly peg angels, star biscuits, Christmas cards, nativity photo frames and lots more fun crafts. Messy Church is also providing a Christmas tree for display as part of St Andrews Christmas Tree Festival and will be making baubles and streamers to decorate the tree.
Rev Bev Jameson, team vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree Dean of Women’s Ministry Diocese of Worcester, said: "This is such a wonderful way to prepare for Christmas celebrations."
The calendar will come with a 28-page Christmas story activity book designed to be used every day in Advent.
There will be songs a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.
Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages accompanied by an adult.
The Parish Centre Cafe will also be closed to the public that day.
