Police confirmed that a 76-year-old woman passed away yesterday evening at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
She was a passenger in a red Suzuki Ignis which collided with a black Peugeot 307 on November 14.
The driver of the Suzuki, 82-year-old William John Day from Cirencester, died at the scene of the crash.
A 26-year-old man who was driving the Peugeot remains in a serious but stable condition at Southmead.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
After the collision, residents and councillors spoke out about the dangers of the A429 after a number of fatal crashes there in recent years.
